Taking a class today

It's a very cold rainy day in Fl today. But I will happy and warm at my Card class this morning that I'm taking at my local Scrap store. I've not taken a class in a while, but it was a new year's resolution of mine to do more stuff for myself... like take classes which I usually love to do!!
I'll post pics later of my creations. Trying to type quietly while hubby and cat snore the morning away!!! :-)

Are you a GRUDGE holder?

I am!! One of my new year's resolutions is to clean out some of my mental cobwebs that are bringing me down. There is a person in my life, that i hold a grudge against. She is just a negative force in my life that i need to let go of. So I am putting it in writing that I am OFFICIALLY removing her from my life, my thoughts, my energy!!!! I'm done with her! (Wiping my hands clean gesture) I feel better already!!!
What cobwebs are you keeping? Clear them out in the new year!

I took this pic of a gorgeous rose at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota. We took a day trip down there and the rose garden is just lovely!!

adjustments

Well I've been a 2nd grade teacher for 6 weeks now. I'm adjusting to the curriculum and the kids. After being in 1st grade for 20 years, it's been challenging for me to say the least.
My kids are great, but I feel like I'm trying to fix some bad habits that have been formed academically. The change has not left me much time for stamping but I'm trying to find time!!
Hopefully I'll get my christmas cards done in the next month!!!

Hula Thanks

I made this for a coworker Dad who bought the whole team "Lei's" for our back to school night.
We wanted to welcome the kids with Lei's as a way of saying welcome to our classes.
This may have been the 1st time I inked up this set (Do the Hula - SU) I really like it!!!
